Apart from our six and eight week courses, we also run a number of one-day workshops.

The workshops consist of a combination of movement, stories, games, movie clips,  role-play and creative activities to ensure FUN while learning.

See below for a list of all our workshops and a description of each.

DEALING WITH ANXIETY

Workshop for age 7 to 10 (90 minute); 11 to 13 and 13 to 15 year olds (2 hours)

Anxiety is the number one mental health problem facing children and adolescents today, particularly now as we face so much uncertainty in our world. Without assistance, children tend to grow into their fears, not grow out of them.

In this workshop children and teenagers will learn tools & techniques to help them manage their worries and fear.

DEALING WITH FEELINGS

90 minute workshop for age 7 to 10 year old boys and girls

The Dealing with Feelings workshop will be an overview of the types of feelings we experience and how we can see, hear or feel them.  The children will be taught techniques and given tools to empower them to take responsibility for their own feelings and actions.

One of the key techniques the children will be taught in the workshop is belly breathing as this will help them when they are feeling nervous, anxious or angry or can't get to sleep.

MANAGING ANGER

2-hour workshop for age 7 to 10 year old boys and girls

In this workshop we will share what makes us angry and how we respond or react.  The children will be taught many techniques and given tools to empower them to take responsibility for their anger and to release this uncomfortable feeling in a positive way.

SELF-LOVE & SELF-CARE:

It is increasingly important to teach young girls to love themselves. With all that they are exposed to, both amongst their peers and in the digital world, teen girls are struggling with self-love, self-confidence and integrity. In this interactive and creative workshop, we will provide a safe space for the girls to discuss how they are feeling and to practice skills that will increase their confidence, self-love and the power to stay true to who they are.

TEEN PRESSURES:
