Apart from our 8-week courses, we also run a number of one-day workshops.
The workshops consist of a combination of movement, stories, games, movie clips,
role-play and creative activities to ensure FUN while learning.
See below for a list of all our workshops and a description of each.
DEALING WITH ANXIETY
Anxiety is the number one mental health problem facing children and adolescents today, particularly now as we face so much uncertainty in our world. Without assistance, children tend to grow into their fears, not grow out of them.
In this workshop children will learn tools & techniques to help them manage their worries and fear.
PLEASE NOTE: All our workshops are offered online and in-person and we are currently only running them privately and on request.
If a parent hosts a workshop and/or gets together a group of 6 to 10 children to join, the workshop will be free of charge for that parent (child).
DEALING WITH FEELINGS:
The Dealing with Feelings workshop will be an overview of the types of feelings we experience and how we can see, hear or feel them. The children will be taught techniques and given tools to empower them to take responsibility for their own feelings and actions.
One of the key techniques the children will be taught in the workshop is belly breathing as this will help them when they are feeling nervous, anxious or angry or can't get to sleep.
In this workshop we will share what makes us angry and how we respond or react. The children will be taught many techniques and given tools to empower them to take responsibility for their anger and to release this uncomfortable feeling in a positive way.
This 3-part workshop is designed to equip children with tools and techniques to manage friendships, communicate effectively and feel good about themselves and others.
Part 1: What makes a good friend?
Part 2: Friendship & communication
Part 3: Kindness & empathy
* Can be booked as separate workshops or all three
UNDERSTANDING & MANAGING BULLYING:
Does your child know what bullying is and can they stand up for themselves?
This is a fun and interactive workshop designed to equip children with tools and techniques to manage bullying, learn assertiveness and build empathy.
NAVIGATING SOCIAL MEDIA & THE ONLINE WORLD:
In this workshop, tweens/teens will have the opportunity to discuss and share their own values and ethical positions in relation to their participation in the online world. We will discuss the risks as well as challenges they may face while navigating the internet and they will gain knowledge & learn tools to help them manage these challenges.

Pressure to be "in", pressure to perform, pressure to pass, pressure to please, pressure to post and reply...
In this fun interactive workshop we provide the girls with a safe space to share stories, have discussions, be creative and assist them with the often overwhelming feelings that may arise with the teenage years.
Workshop designed to assist girls with understanding and relating to boys.
