WHAT WE DO

At Kids Who Can Community, we offer practical courses and workshops for ALL children. We provide children with a safe, fun space to learn about themselves ~ what they like, what they dislike, how they feel about things and to learn to manage what life throws at them in a healthy and effective way.

Our aim is to empower children to take responsibility in creating their own healthy, calm, joyful lives by teaching them tools and techniques to assist them with the changes and challenges they may face in their daily lives.

Childhood should not be stressful but in today’s culture, stress in children is becoming more and more frequent. With the pressures of school, sports, and all that the media throws at our children, it’s pretty clear how a child can quickly feel overwhelmed! As parents and child carers, we need to be aware of what our children are feeling and help them to express themselves in healthy ways.

Some of what our courses and workshops offer:

  • Tools to assist with expressing feelings

  • Managing anxiety
  • Self calming techniques

  • Self protection & body awareness

  • Positive self-talk

  • Self esteem & confidence building

  • How to deal with Bullying

  • Kindness & Empathy
